This policy applies to Flass Map (“Flass”), the Flass Android app (package app.flass.map) and the Flass web app, operated by the Flass team. It explains what data we process, why, and what control you have.
Account data: email address, username, display name, avatar, bio, language preference and sign-in identity (email/password or Google). Content you publish: pins, photos and videos, pin titles and descriptions, comments, private messages, Live Event details, Live chat messages and reactions. Interaction data: likes, follows, blocks, mutes, views, Live presence and ticket ownership. Safety data: reports you file or that concern you, moderation actions, warnings and security events such as sign-in attempts. Commercial data: wallet balance, Coin ledger entries, purchases verified with the store or payment provider, tickets, refunds, creator-earnings entries and payout records. Technical data: device model and platform, app version, approximate technical logs, IP address and push notification tokens.
To operate Flass and deliver the features you ask for; to show your pins and events to other users as you chose; to deliver messages, notifications and Live streams; to verify purchases and keep the wallet, ledger, refunds and creator earnings correct; to keep the platform safe, prevent fraud, spam and ban evasion, and enforce our Terms; to answer support requests; and to comply with legal obligations.
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (running your account, purchases, tickets and events); our legitimate interests (safety, fraud prevention, abuse handling, service improvement); your consent where we ask for it (for example camera, microphone, device location or push notifications); and legal obligations (accounting, tax, responses to lawful requests).
Flass does not track your continuous physical location and does not record a background location history. When you create a pin or a Live Event you choose a location on the map, and that chosen location is published with the pin as you intended. If you use the “locate me” control, your device position is used at that moment to centre the map on your device only; it is not stored as a location history. Device location permission is optional and can be withdrawn in your system settings — you can still place pins manually.
For a Live Event we process the event details you enter, the cover image, the ticket and VIP configuration, who holds a ticket, who is present in the room, Live chat messages and reactions, and technical streaming quality data. Your camera and microphone are only used while you are broadcasting, and the stream itself is not recorded by Flass.
Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing on Android and by our web payment provider on the web; creator payouts run through our payout provider. Flass never receives or stores your card number. We do store the records needed to run the economy honestly: verified purchase references, Coin ledger entries, tickets, refunds, creator-earnings entries and payout records. Purchased Coins are virtual credits with no cash value; creator earnings are held separately from them.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share data only with the service providers strictly necessary to run Flass — hosting and database, media storage, live-streaming infrastructure, push notification delivery, payment and payout providers, email delivery — each processing data on our instructions; with other users, but only the content you chose to publish or send; and with authorities when a valid legal request requires it.
Account and content data are kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, the data listed below is removed immediately and only a limited set of financial, security, moderation and support records is retained in pseudonymised form, for as long as the applicable accounting, tax, payment-provider and fraud-prevention obligations require, and no longer.
This section applies to the Flass app (Android package app.flass.map) and the Flass web app, operated by the Flass team. It explains how to delete your Flass account and the associated data.
The deletion is processed immediately and cannot be undone.
You do not need access to the Flass app to have your account deleted. Send a deletion request from the email address registered to your Flass account to flassmap@gmail.com with the subject “Flass account deletion request” and include your Flass username. We verify that the request comes from the account owner before deleting anything, and confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
Deleting your account permanently removes: your login credentials and authentication identity, your profile (username, display name, bio, avatar), your pins and uploaded media, your comments and private messages, your likes, follows, blocks and mutes, your event tickets, your saved devices and push notification tokens, your Live Event presence and chat participation, and your remaining virtual Coin balance. Virtual Coins have no cash value, are not withdrawable, and are forfeited on deletion.
A limited set of records is not deleted, because we are legally required to keep them or need them to protect the platform:
These records are detached from your deleted account and kept in pseudonymised form: they no longer contain your profile, contact details or content, and cannot be used to sign in or to contact you. They are retained only for as long as the applicable accounting, tax, payment-provider and fraud-prevention obligations require, and are deleted or irreversibly anonymised once those obligations lapse. Content that other people created about you or in reply to you remains theirs and is not deleted with your account.
Deleting your Flass account does not cancel a subscription managed by Google Play or by our web payment provider. Cancel it there before deleting your account.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw a consent you gave, and to delete your account and data. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by writing to flassmap@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Access to data is protected by authentication and row-level database rules, financial operations are executed server-side only, and sensitive screens are protected against screenshots on Android. No service can guarantee absolute security; you are responsible for keeping your credentials safe.
Flass is not intended for children below the minimum age required in their country to use a social platform. If we learn that such an account exists, we remove it.
We may update this policy. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced in the app.
