Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Flass Map (“Flass”), the Flass Android app (package app.flass.map) and the Flass web app. They describe how the service actually works today, including content rules, Live Events, Flass Coins, subscriptions, tickets, refunds, creator earnings and payouts.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on Flass you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country and to use a social platform there.

2. The platform

Flass is a social mapping platform: users publish pins on a map, upload photos and videos, comment, send private messages, follow each other and host or watch Live Events. Flass provides the technical infrastructure only. We are not a party to the interactions, agreements or events between users, and we are not a co-organiser of any Live Event.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials safe and for everything that happens through your account. One person, one account. You must not impersonate someone else, sell or transfer your account, evade a ban with a new account, or use automated means to create accounts or interact with the platform.

4. Your content

You remain the owner of the pins, photos, videos, comments, private messages and Live broadcasts you publish. You grant Flass a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit and display that content only as needed to operate the service (for example to show your pin on the map, deliver your stream to ticket holders or send your message to its recipient). You are solely responsible for having the rights to everything you upload, including the rights of any person visible or identifiable in it. Private messages are delivered to their recipients and may be reviewed when they are reported or when the law requires it.

5. Live Events and creators

Creators with an active Creator subscription may schedule Live Events, sell tickets in Flass Coins and broadcast to ticket holders. The creator is fully responsible for what is broadcast, the accuracy of the event information, the safety of attendees, and every promise made when selling tickets. A creator must actually deliver the event at the announced local start time. Repeated cancellations, no-shows or misleading event information may lead to loss of Creator features, withheld payouts or account suspension.

6. Prohibited content and behaviour

You must not publish, distribute or use Flass to facilitate: scams or fraud; violence or threats of violence; hate speech or discrimination; sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors or any content involving minors in a harmful way; illegal goods or services; stolen content or intellectual-property violations; harassment, stalking or doxxing; non-consensual imagery; spam or manipulation of likes, views, tickets or earnings; or any dangerous activity that could harm you or others.

7. Compliance with the law

You must respect the laws of the country and locality from which you use Flass. You must not use Flass for any criminal activity, including fraud, money laundering, trafficking or the sale of regulated or prohibited goods. Where legally required, Flass cooperates with law-enforcement authorities and may disclose account information, content and metadata in response to valid legal process.

8. Reporting, blocking and moderation

You can report any pin, comment, message, profile or Live Event from inside the app, and you can block or mute other users. Reports are reviewed by the Flass moderation team. Moderation decisions and the records supporting them are retained so that safety decisions remain reviewable, and blocking is enforced by the platform on both sides.

9. Suspension and termination

Flass may, at its discretion and without prior notice, remove content, hide pins, cancel Live Events, restrict features, suspend an account temporarily or terminate it permanently when these Terms, the law or community safety are violated. Where an event is cancelled by moderation, ticket holders are refunded in Flass Coins under the refund rules below.

10. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app, or by sending a deletion request by email as described in the Account Deletion section of our Privacy Policy. Deletion is permanent. Remaining Flass Coins are virtual credits with no cash value and are forfeited on deletion. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription managed by Google Play or by our web payment provider — cancel that first. A limited set of financial, fraud-prevention, moderation and support records is retained in pseudonymised form as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Pricing, platform fees, earnings and refunds

This section explains what you pay, what creators receive, when Flass charges a fee and how refunds work. The amounts and taxes shown at checkout at the moment of purchase always prevail over any example in this document.

11.1 Subscriptions

Flass offers a free plan, Premium and Creator. In the reference currency the current prices are €2 per month for Premium and €3.5 per month for Creator; on Android the price, currency and taxes are those shown by Google Play for your country, and on the web those shown by our web payment provider. Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current paid period runs to its end and is not refunded pro rata, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

11.2 Flass Coins

Flass Coins are prepaid virtual credits used inside Flass, mainly to buy Live Event tickets. Packs currently range from 0.5 to 50 coins, with a reference value of 1 coin = €1.00 before any taxes shown at checkout. Purchased Coins have no cash value for the purchaser: they cannot be withdrawn, cannot be converted back into money, cannot be transferred to another user or outside Flass, and are not a payment account or e-money. Unused Coins simply stay in your wallet until you spend them or delete your account. Purchased Coins are never a creator payout balance.

11.3 Tickets for paid Live Events

Tickets are paid in Flass Coins. The creator sets the normal ticket price and, where offered, a VIP price and capacity. When you buy a ticket the Coins leave your wallet immediately and access to the event is granted right away. One ticket per person per event. Ticket purchases are processed server-side and recorded once; a repeated request cannot charge you twice.

11.4 Flass commission

Flass applies a platform commission on ticket sales only. The applicable rate is defined by the settlement rule active at the moment of each sale and is recorded together with that sale, so the fee that applies to a ticket never changes retroactively. At the time of this revision the active rate is 5% of the ticket price, meaning creators receive the remainder of every completed, non-refunded ticket sale. The commission is always borne by the creator and never added on top of the buyer's price, and it is deducted automatically at the moment the ticket is bought. Gross amount, commission and net amount are shown to the creator in the Earnings and Live statistics screens. Flass takes no commission on subscriptions or on Coin purchases beyond the price shown at checkout; payment providers and app stores apply their own fees to the underlying transaction.

11.5 Creator earnings

Creator earnings are NOT the same balance as purchased Flass Coins and are never mixed with them. When a ticket is sold, Flass records a separate creator-earnings entry holding the gross amount, the commission applied and the net amount, in the settlement currency, under the settlement rule version in force. Those entries move to an available state according to the platform's settlement rules once the event has been delivered, and are reversed automatically if the corresponding ticket is refunded. Purchased Coins never become creator earnings merely because they sit in a wallet.

11.6 Creator payouts

Only available creator earnings can be paid out. Payouts are requested from the Earnings screen, are executed server-side to the creator's linked payout account through our payout provider (currently PayPal), and require a minimum available balance (currently €10.00). Each payout is recorded once and cannot be duplicated. Payouts can be delayed or withheld while a dispute, refund, fraud review or moderation review affecting the underlying sales is open. Flass may require identity or account verification before releasing a payout.

11.7 Taxes

Prices you pay are shown with the taxes applied by the store or payment provider for your country; Flass does not calculate tax itself. Creators are solely responsible for declaring and paying any tax, social contribution or duty owed on their earnings in their own jurisdiction, and for issuing any invoice their law requires.

11.8 Payment providers

Purchases in the Android app are processed by Google Play Billing and are subject to Google's terms; purchases on the web are processed by our web payment provider; creator payouts are executed through our payout provider. Flass verifies every purchase server-side before Coins or subscription access are granted, and never stores your card details. Flass is not responsible for outages, refusals or restrictions imposed by these providers.

11.9 Refunds

Ticket buyers are refunded the full ticket price in Flass Coins, with no deduction, when an event is cancelled, when a scheduled event does not start within 15 minutes of its scheduled start time, or when a broadcast is interrupted and the creator does not reconnect within the recovery window after having broadcast for less than 15 minutes. Once an event has actually been broadcast for 15 minutes or more, a later connection failure alone does not trigger an automatic refund. In every eligible case the buyer receives 100% back, the creator receives nothing for that ticket and the commission reserved on it is reversed in full. Refunds are returned as Flass Coins to your in-app wallet, not to your card, because the ticket was paid in Coins. Refunds are executed server-side and recorded once, so the same ticket can never be refunded twice. Coin purchases and subscription payments are handled by the store or payment provider that processed them and are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where mandatory consumer law or the store's own policy provides otherwise.

11.10 Event cancellation

A creator may cancel a scheduled or running event. Cancelling refunds every valid ticket automatically and exactly once, reverses the corresponding creator earnings and commission, marks the event as cancelled and removes it from the map so no one can join. Cancellation works the same way for free events and for paid events with no buyers.

11.11 Chargebacks and payment disputes

If a purchase is reversed by a chargeback, a store refund or a provider dispute, Flass may reverse the corresponding Coins, subscription access, tickets and creator earnings, and may suspend the account or withhold payouts while the dispute is open. Deliberately abusive chargebacks are a breach of these Terms.

11.12 Changes to prices and fees

Flass may change subscription prices, Coin pack prices and the commission rate. Changes apply only to future purchases and future subscription periods; tickets already sold keep the commission recorded at the time of sale.

Child Safety Standards

Flass has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Flass strictly prohibits

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
  • Sexual exploitation or abuse of minors.
  • Grooming or attempting to contact minors for sexual purposes.
  • Sexualization of minors.
  • Soliciting, requesting, sharing, distributing, promoting or facilitating sexual content involving minors.
  • Any behaviour or content that facilitates, encourages or promotes child sexual exploitation or abuse.

Reporting

Flass provides in-app reporting mechanisms that allow users to report accounts, posts, pins, messages, videos, live content or other content that may violate these standards.

Reports involving potential child sexual abuse or exploitation are prioritised for review.

Child-safety concerns can also be reported to flassmap@gmail.com.

Enforcement

Flass may immediately remove content that violates these standards and may restrict, suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in child sexual abuse or exploitation.

Where required by applicable law, Flass will report apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or child sexual exploitation to the appropriate regional or national authorities.

Legal compliance

Flass complies with applicable child-safety laws and cooperates with the appropriate law-enforcement and child-safety authorities when legally required.

12. Intellectual property

The Flass name, logo, app, design, code and databases belong to Flass and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may not copy, decompile, scrape or build a competing service from them. If you believe content on Flass infringes your rights, report it in the app and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.

13. Privacy and data processing

Our Privacy Policy explains what data Flass collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how to delete your account and data. It forms part of these Terms.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

Flass is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flass disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not warrant uninterrupted streaming, error-free operation or the conduct of other users.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flass is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue or data, arising from your use of the platform or your interactions with other users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death, personal injury or fraud.

16. Your mandatory consumer rights

If you use Flass as a consumer, you keep all rights granted to you by the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence, including any statutory right of withdrawal and any legal guarantee. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights. Where digital content is supplied immediately with your express consent, a statutory withdrawal right may lapse once delivery has begun, to the extent your law allows.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of Flass after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
